Through our solar energy investments, we aim to minimize our impact on nature. By monitoring energy use at our facilities, we identify areas for savings and implement long-term improvements through automation and monitoring systems.
At Akra Hotels, we continue our solar power plant investments since 2022, with a strong sense of responsibility toward our planet. Through our facilities established in Döşemealtı, Aksu, Afyon Sandıklı, Alanya, and Elmalı Bayındır, we generated a total of 18,990,945 kWh of electricity in 2024, meeting approximately 65% of our total energy consumption through solar energy.
With our Elmalı Kışlaköy solar power plant becoming operational in March 2025, we now generate a total of 33 million kWh of electricity annually and meet 100% of the electricity needs of all our hotels through our solar power plants. Through our renewable energy investments, we reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a sustainable future.
